Intro to Kayaking on the Rio
Grande: 3-day Course. Aproximately 6 hours each day. $395.

Start out learning the basics of kayaking safety
and movements, wet exits, bracing, and paddle strokes.
Day one begins with detailed instruction of the fundamental
skills required to safely navigate a kayak. As the course
progresses you will learn basic river features and skills
to start you on the right foot for learnining to kayak.
Lots of time will be spent teaching you how to brace
properly, Paddle into and out of eddies, and ferry across
currents.
Course participants may camp in Pilar, or meet each morning.
Private Kayaking Instruction on the Rio Grande: Full-day of private kayaking on the Rio Grande. aprox.6 hrs, $299.00 for the first paddler , $149.00 each additional person. Equipment provided if needed. Enjoy lunch at the Pilar Yacht Club Cafe. Half-day aprox. 3 hrs, $169.00, $99.00 each additional person.
Guided Kayak Runs for Experianced Kayakers: Maybe you've completed our 3 day course and are looking for a little support on your first trips down the Class III Racecourse, or you've been paddeling for a while and are looking to step it up. A guided run is a smart decision. Organize a group of three or more, and we'll take you down. (levels permitting) Guided Racecourse trip $75.00 per person (minimum 4 people).
