Why Kokopelli?

Kokopelli Rafting Adventures

Since our founding in 1990, our goal has been to provide a quality recreational experience to people of all ages. Kokopelli guests can expect small custom trips, great food, personalized service, and of course exceptional guiding staff. Our professionally guided tours focus on the natural and cultural history of the region with plenty of fun and adventure mixed in. We provide everything you need for a comfortable outdoor experience whether it's an afternoon or a week.

Our Staff

Neil McLeod
Neil has experience guiding rafting trips on the Rio Grande and Rio Chama since 1994 as well as the Class V whitewater on West Virginia's Upper Gauley. Neil is an Outward Bound Instructor and is trained in Wilderness Medicine and Swiftwater Rescue.
Randy Lahr
Randy has been guiding on the Rio Grande and Rio Chama since 1998. Randy is also a Class V river guide and guides in the Fall on the Class V Upper Gauley River. When he's not on the water, Randy works as an Emergency Medical Technician.
Eileen Wittman
Eileen has been a Santa Fe rafting guide since 2001 on the waters of the Rio Grande and Rio Chama. Not just a river guide, she's a well versed mountain bike instructor as well.
John Seiner
John has worked the rivers of New Mexico since 1999. He is a Swiftwater Rescue Technician, Wilderness First Responder, CPR/First Aid instructor, and an avid outdoorsman. John attended the New Zealand Rafting Association advanced river rescue workshop. Over the past ten years he has guided hiking, biking, and rafting trips throughout northern New Mexico.
Michael Davis
Michael began rafting in Santa Fe in 1998. Mike has been raft guiding on the Rio Grande and Rio Chama for Kokopelli Rafting, as well as experience whitewater rafting other rivers in the Southwest. Mike is a trained Wilderness First responder and Swiftwater rescue technician.

Jeff Harris
Jeff Harris joined Kokopelli Rafting and Santa Fe Adventure Tours in the high water season of 2005. He's a student at Colorado's Fort Lewis University and spends his free times exploring the mountains and rivers of the Southwest.

 

Kathleen Murphy
Kathleen joined Kokopelli Rafting and Santa Fe Adventure Tours in 2004 and has brought years of experience to our team. Kathleen is a former environmental educator, a long time Santa Fe, New Mexico resident, and a logistical genius. With current First Aid and CPR certificates, she's ready for anything.

Justin Bobb
Justin was born and raised in Santa Fe New Mexico. He is an avid outdoorsman, rock climber, and a member of the local Search and Rescue Unit. Justin is a Swiftwater Rescue Technician and knowledgable river guide. Raft White Rock canyon with him where his local knowledge can really enhance your experience.

Clayton Sneider
Clayton has been a professional river guide since 2000. Most of his rafting career has been on class III and class IV rivers in the Pacific northwest. As a new New Mexico resident, Clayton joined us for the 2005 season, and he has brought his years of experience to our team.
Jason Lowry
Jason began guiding rafts professionally in 2005, however he has been rafting recreationally and racing for years. Jason and his team hold the Raft downriver title from the 2005 Adobe Whitewater Club Mothers Day race.
